History

Rexon Day Forensic was established in 1982. Since that date it has continuously investigated hundreds of building and construction failures and has provided expert evidence.

Rexon Day Consulting was established in 1986 to provide structural engineering design for projects.

Before establishing the first of the Rexon Day companies in 1982, Colin Richardson was a director of an international Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy responsible for the design and construction of a range of structural and civil engineering projects both in the UK and overseas. He was resident for extended periods in Nigeria and Australia and for shorter periods in Algeria and France. He has overall responsibility for the Group Companies.

Vision

The Rexon Day Group seeks to achieve the following:

• The preparation of engineering design for a reasonable fee which is simple and results in simple construction and at a reasonable build cost
• The investigation and reporting of problems in construction in a concise, analytical and clear manner so that the client can readily be supported on technical issues whilst pursuing the resolution of such problems.
• The dissemination of the experience between the Rexon Day Companies to provide an enhanced service to our clients which would otherwise not be possible. e.g.
• Features to be avoided in roof design
• Features to be avoided in foundation design
• Features essential for inclusion in method statements for structural steelwork erection.
